Set call limits

Table of Contents

Open the Settings tab. The Limits card holds the limits for calls. Change a value, and select Save settings.

Limit What it does
Max concurrent calls The number of calls that can be translated at the same time, across the whole organisation.
Idle stop, desktop app (minutes) The Windows app warns the agent, and then stops the translation of a call that had no sound in either direction for this long. From 1 to 60. Leave it blank to let each computer use its own setting, which is 10 minutes by default.
Maximum call length (minutes) From 60 to 240. Taiwa checks this when a call renews its translation connection, about once an hour. So a call can run up to an hour past this value.

The idle stop protects you from a call that nobody ended. Without it, a forgotten call is translated, and billed by your translation provider, until someone stops it.

If two administrators change the settings at the same time

The page tells you which values changed while it was open, and shows the latest values. Check them, and save again.
