To open the settings, select the Taiwa icon in the Chrome toolbar, and select Settings. When you change a value, select Save settings at the end of the page.
In Zendesk and Freshdesk, the Settings tab of the Taiwa panel has the same call settings.

Audio settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Translated Audio Volume | How loudly you hear the translated customer. It does not change what the customer hears. |
| Customer's original voice | How loudly you hear the customer's own voice under the translation. 0% mutes it. |
| Your original voice (to customer) | How loudly the customer hears your own voice under the translation. 0% mutes it. |
| Your translated voice | The voice that the customer hears for your translated speech. |
The two original-voice levels apply to the next call, not to a call in progress. A change to Your translated voice also takes effect on the next call.
Translation
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Auto-start translation when a call begins | Taiwa starts to translate as soon as a call connects. You do not select Start translation. |
| Your language | The language that you speak on calls. The extension also shows its own text in this language. |
If the Taiwa Windows app translates your calls, leave Auto-start translation when a call begins off. Two translators on one call can garble it and bill it twice.
Message translation
Translate incoming messages automatically is on by default. It applies to every written channel that your inbox carries.
The text below the setting says how your organisation stores translations and what it skips. Your administrator sets those rules in the admin portal.
