Share desktop usage data during launch

Table of Contents

The Windows app keeps a usage record on each computer. Normally that record stays on the computer. For a limited time, you can let the app send it to Taiwa. Taiwa uses it to find and fix problems during your first calls.

The launch support card

What is shared

  • Error codes, counts and timings.
  • The record is filed under the agent who is signed in.

The record never holds anything that was said on a call.

Turn it on

  1. Open the Settings tab.
  2. Under Launch support: share desktop usage data with Taiwa, select Turn on for 14 days or Turn on for 30 days.
  3. Read the confirmation, and select Turn on.

The card then shows the end date. Sharing stops by itself on that date. To stop it earlier, select Turn off now.

What your agents see

Each agent sees a notice in the Windows app. The Usage data section of the app's settings shows the end date. While your organisation shares the record, an agent cannot turn it off in the app.

Taiwa keeps each record for 30 days.
