This article lists the call languages that Taiwa offers when DeepL is your translation provider. Another provider can support a different set. The Translation providers page of the admin portal says what each provider can do.
Languages that Taiwa can detect
Taiwa can hear and speak these 18 languages. With Customer speaks set to Auto-detect, Taiwa finds the customer's language from their first words.

Languages that you must select
Taiwa can hear and speak these 19 languages too, but it cannot detect them. Select the language in Customer speaks before the call starts.

Regional variants
You can select a regional variant as the language that a person hears. Taiwa then speaks in that variant.

The helpdesk panels list the 37 languages, but not the regional variants. To select a variant, use the extension's own window or the Windows app.
The translated voice
For each direction you select the voice: Match the speaker, Female or Male.
Match the speaker makes the translated voice sound like the person who speaks. DeepL makes that voice from the speech of the current call only. It does not record or keep it. See DeepL's article About speaker match. DeepL offers it only for the languages that it voices itself. For the other languages you hear a standard voice.

Message translation supports the same languages, and the regional variants, as the language that you translate into.
Languages of the Taiwa products themselves
The admin portal, the extension and the Windows app are available in 14 languages. In the portal, select the language at the top right. In the extension, Your language sets it. In the Windows app, use App language on the Settings page.
