Do these steps in order.
1. Sign in to the admin portal
Open the invite link that Taiwa sent you, and set your password. Then sign in at https://app.taiwa.cx. See Sign in to the admin portal.
2. Add your translation provider
On the Translation providers page, paste the API key of your provider account, for example DeepL. Taiwa checks the key before it saves it. See Use your own translation provider account.
3. Add your terminology
On the Terminology page, add the names and words that must be heard and translated correctly. This step is optional, and you can come back to it. See Terminology: spoken terms and glossaries.
4. Set your rules
On the Settings page:
- Set your call limits. See Set call limits.
- Decide if agents can see and save call transcripts. See Control call transcripts.
- Choose how message translations are stored. See Set up message translation.
5. Add your agents
Invite each agent on the Users page, or connect your identity provider so that agents sign in with single sign-on.
6. Install the helpdesk app
If your agents work in Zendesk or Freshdesk, install the Taiwa app there. It puts the Taiwa panel in the ticket sidebar.
7. Tell your IT team
Give your IT team the Network requirements. If your agents use the Windows app, also give them Deploy the Windows app in your organisation.
8. Add a payment method
On the Billing page, add a card for the platform fee. See Billing.
9. Send your agents their first steps
Send your agents this article: Get started as an agent.
For your first weeks, you can let Taiwa see technical usage data from the Windows app, so that Taiwa can find problems quickly. See Share desktop usage data during launch.
