Taiwa does not update by itself. You start each update.
Install an update
- Open the Settings tab, and go to Updates at the end of the page.
- Select Check for updates.
- If the app says that a new version is available, select Install update.
Taiwa closes, installs the update, and opens again. This takes about one minute. You do not need administrator rights, and you stay signed in.
Taiwa cannot update while a call is translated. End the call first.
What the Updates section can say

| A newer version exists. It is being released gradually… | Taiwa will offer the version on this computer shortly. |
| Updates are managed by your organisation | Your IT team installs updates for you. |
| This version needs audio driver … | Update the driver on the Devices tab first, or ask your IT team. |
| Couldn't check for updates | Check your connection, and try again. Your IT team can check the Network requirements. |
If the app does not open again
Start Taiwa from the Start menu. Then open Settings and select Check for updates again, to see which version you have.
